African Giant Black Millipedes are among the largest millipedes in the world, growing to around 12 inches long. Their thick, dark bodies and hundreds of moving legs make them impressive animals to watch as they explore and feed on decomposing leaves and wood.
Each purchase includes one millipede in a temporary enclosure prepared here at The Tarantula Collective with Bio Dude Terra Isopoda, hardwood leaf litter, decaying hardwood, and springtails. This gives them food, cover, and a healthy substrate to burrow into while you prepare their permanent habitat.
