Cubaris sp. "White Ducky" - White Ducky Isopods
White Duckies have the same rounded body shape and unmistakable little "duck face" that made Rubber Duckies famous, but with much lighter cream and white coloration that gives them a completely different look.
They're a tropical species that appreciates consistently humid conditions, good ventilation, deep substrate, plenty of leaf litter, decaying wood and a reliable calcium source. Like other Ducky varieties, they tend to reproduce more slowly than many common isopods, so patience is part of the deal.
Once established, though, they're a beautiful little colony and one of the more distinctive isopods you can add to a collection.
