Smokey Oak Millipedes have thick, rounded bodies with smoky gray coloration and grow to around 4-5 inches long. Native to the southeastern United States, they’re substantial millipedes that spend their time burrowing and feeding on decomposing leaves and wood.
Each purchase includes one millipede in a temporary enclosure prepared here at The Tarantula Collective with Bio Dude Terra Isopoda, hardwood leaf litter, decaying hardwood, and springtails. This gives them food, cover, and a healthy substrate to burrow into while you prepare their permanent habitat.
